And here we are again, this time playing Torres and Quo Vadis.

We started with Torres.

This is the start of the game.

Everyone placed a new knight and expanded the area of their castles. Soon enough, everyone was trying to get themselves positioned in other castles other that their own starting castles. Action cards were also being drawn at the start, not many though.

Every castle but one is occupied by knights. Everyone is trying to get points at the end of the first phase.

Second phase came and everyone placed all of their knights except me and Rui. The king bonus didnīt attract us this phase.

The end of second phase. The castles grow both in area and in height.

Third phase began and now everyone went to the kingīs castle for the kingīs bonus. Everyone won 15 points. Action cards were being used extensively, and I used two action cards that allowed me to get a castle from the general supply and place it on a castle on the board.

Evil cakes! They taunt us by being delicious and breaking our concentration from the game.

The third and final phase came to an end, and there were many tall castles in the game. Everyone had developed the castles where they had their knights and every castle but one had at least 2 knights on it.

The end of the game.
In the end I came up last. What a bloody surprise! The scores were:

Rui - 222
Artur - 213
Nelson - 201
Joao - 182

Next we played a couple of Quo Vadis, a negotiation game with a theme of politics by Reiner Knizia.

The first game went horrible to me. I came up last with 5 points. There wasnīt much dealing in the first game.

The first game at its start.
The scores for the first match were:

Artur - 24
Rui - 21
Nelson - 20
Joao - 5

The second game went much better to me. There was a lot more dealings but there was no rush to get to the high senate in order to be contemplated for scoring. Everyone got there and this time everyone spent much more time collecting points.
Hereīs the second play at the middle of the game.
The scores for the second match were:

Nelson - 37
Artur - 33
Rui - 26
Joao - 21

All in all, a good time was had by all.
